Its sleek construction includes a large tilted food carriage that fully retracts to permit slicing of extra-large roasts, hams as well as other foods. It also includes a carriage lock for added peace of mind. For effortless slicing, structural components are made of cast aluminum and stainless steel including a German 7-inch (17 cm.) heat-treated stainless-steel blade. The adjustable precision thickness control allows for slices from deli-thin to approximately one-inch thick. After slicing is done, clean-up is easy with a removable blade, food carriage, food pusher and food deflector.
